Get your activation key

The app is free to download. The activation key is what licenses it to trade, and it costs $50 per month. Here is how to get one today — and how buying will work once card payments go live.

What it costs

Kirby Ultimate Trader is licensed at a flat $50 per month. No tiers, no performance fees, no percentage of your account, no charge that depends on how you do. You keep whatever the account makes and you carry whatever it loses; we are paid the same either way.

What you getThe full application, both strategies, and every update while your licence is active.
What it runs onYour own Windows PC, trading your own brokerage account.
Licence scopeOne activation key, locked to one computer. Moving to a new PC is a support email, not a new purchase.
CancelAny time. See what happens when a licence ends, below.

How to get access today

Card checkout is not switched on yet (see below — it is coming, and we would rather tell you plainly than pretend). Today, access is issued by hand, and it is quick:

  1. Email us and ask for access

Write to [email protected] with the subject “Access request”. Tell us the email address you want the key sent to. That is all we need.
  2. We issue your activation key

Your key is generated and emailed to you, usually within one business day. It arrives from [email protected] with the subject “Your Kirby Ultimate Trader activation key”.
  3. Check your spam folder if it has not arrived

Automated emails carrying licence keys sometimes land in spam or promotions. Search your mailbox for kirbytrader. If it is genuinely not there after a day, email us again — we can resend it to the same address in seconds.
  4. Keep the email

The key is the one thing you will need again if you ever reinstall. Keep the email, or copy the key into your password manager.

Card subscription — how it will work

Not live yetAutomatic card payment is not switched on today. Everything in this section describes how it will work when it goes live, so you know exactly what to expect. These instructions will be updated the day card payments launch. Until then, use the “Available now” path above.
  1. Choose the plan and click Subscribe

On the Pricing page you will pick the $50 per month plan and start checkout.
  2. Pay on a secure page hosted by Stripe

Checkout is handled by Stripe, our payment processor — the same company that processes payments for a large part of the internet. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own page, not ours. KirbyTrader never sees or stores your card number.
  3. Your card is charged $50 per month

The subscription renews automatically on the same date each month. You can cancel at any time.
  4. Two emails arrive

A receipt from Stripe, and your activation key from KirbyTrader, sent automatically within moments of a successful payment. If neither appears, check spam and search for kirbytrader and stripe.
  5. Manage it yourself afterwards

Updating your card, downloading invoices and cancelling will all be self-serve — no email to support required.

What happens to your positions

The robot never abandons an open positionThis is the part people worry about, so it is worth being exact. When a licence lapses or is cancelled, the robot stops opening new trades — but it keeps managing everything it already holds, all the way to that position's normal target or stop. It does not dump your positions at market, and it does not walk away and leave them unattended.
Card payment failsStripe retries automatically over the following days and emails you. Nothing changes for your robot during that window — nobody is cut off over one expired card.
You cancelYou keep full access through the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is cut off mid-month.
After the paid period endsThe robot winds down: no new entries, existing positions still managed to their exits. The dashboard says Inactive and tells you why.
You come back laterEnter a new activation key in Settings and it picks up where it left off. Your history and settings are still on your PC.
